Cal Expo Confirms Harness Racing Dates Through June 2010

SACRAMENTO, CA - The California Horse Racing Board approved the license application of Cal Expo for 89 racing nights from December 26, 2009 through June 19, 2010 as requested.  The weekly schedule is basically Thursday through Sunday from December through March, and then Thursday through Saturday from April through June.

"We are hopeful additional Cal Expo harness dates and Thoroughbred dates for the fair are allocated and approved by the California Horse Racing Board in the near future," said Cal Expo's Assistant General Manager of Racing Dave Elliott.
